    double post:

    does yelawolf have a tour anytime soon? I think I figured out whats going on.
    yelawof released this single to create buzz for his tour while his album will come out next year, that leave place for Eminem album to be release in November.

    theres no reason for yelawolf to release this single without a date for the album unless Eminem is dropping first.

    the first bar has two rap references. One of Kid Rock’s album, which he was involved with, and another of the Public Enemy song, “"Rebel without a Pause”. Keep in mind the word “pause”.
    He’s a kaze without the kami. A kamikaze is a japanese suicide bomber, or, better said, the person flying the suicide bomber. Marshall is saying that he’s a “kaze”, which is a slang term for Japanese person. Note, its about as much of a racial slur as “honkey” is, so not too bad. He’s a kazi without the kami, kami being a divine being of the “Shinto” religion. So Eminem saying he ain’t no Shinto, homie.

    This third bar is a bit of a misdirect. Its pretty cool but doesn’t really fit with the entire train of thought, although ‘G’ is a letter, keep that in mind.
    Then he continues through the next four bars with one train of thought.
    …
    This quatrain is a metaphor for his writing skills. His pen is his “glock” (pistol) and his pencil lead are also his bullets (made out of lead).
    Not only that, his pencil has a laser sight that he’s pointing straight at your colon… so he’s gonna s---t you in the a---. This also serves as a double entendre since he’s “pausing” when he’s going for your a---, cause he’s not gay. But YOU pause since your about to be shot!
    And now the most impressive part : At the end he says “Punks you wait”, which is a homophone for “Punctuate”… which is wordplay on the entire verse.
    Everything from kaze without the kami (kami being pronounced like “Comma”), to the G, to the two dots on your colon. Colon obviously being a punctuation mark, as well as the two dots signifying that it is, since that’s what a colon is.
    What do you do when you see a colon? YOU PAUSE.
    FUUUUUUUUCK MARSHALL!
    P.S – The latter half of the last bar regarding Rock and Roll, Eminem constantly compares himself to elvis, as shown in the next line where he discusses how he’s literally “elvis” and he HASN’T left the buildin' yet.

    just an explanation i found for those bars , better than rg lmao

    so we have our first feature of the year out. another one with Crooked coming next month. It would be smart if they'd drop Rap on Steroids sometime between now and the Crooked song, or not long after the Crooked song.

    you guys are stupid af, the man didn't relapse, he's just old and can't be consistent for 10 years that would just drain him out. give it time. i don't see the "decline in skill" considering he's been his last three verses have been fantastic.

    Any update on this? I'm very curious about where he's been. Honestly as a rich recluse with nothing to do, it would be very hard not to relapse.

    So basically somebody I've been friends with a long time emailed me in like February and was like Eminem is dropping an album on 11-4-16. He still emails me s--- like this because 15 years ago we worshipped this man. He's been right about everything in the past so I told you guys. Then this summer it's anbounced that there's that video game coming out on that same day so I think it's a virtual certainty because the guy has had ties with them dating back to 09. Well the VMA's and COD trailer come and go so I asked him of he knew anything and he told me Eminem/COD did in fact have plans to piggy back off one another and release on the same day just like with MMLP2. Anyways Eminem and his people blew that up in early August for reasons unknown and really left the video game hanging. My buddy doesn't know when or if Eminem is releasing an album again. That's all I know sorry guys.

    I think there are a few different reasons this could've happened.

    1. I wonder if it has anything to do with the extreme negative reaction COD got? Perhaps they didn't want to associate.
    2. Eminem had a change in direction (i.e. Relapse 2 to Recovery).
    3. They wanted to push Yelawolf's release first
    4. Eminem wasn't ready/didn't meet the deadline.
    5. They may have had previous contractual obligations (Apple Music?)

    regardless of what the reasoning is, I hope we get something new soon. Thanks for the info M Solo!
