I agree
I've played it a lot since it came out, probably as many times as any proper studio album. I like that its concise too. Psychopath Killer has great verses from everyone and a phenomenal hook by Yelawolf.
I think its just a fun, cool compilation. Also dont forget Twisted even though Em doesnt have a verse. His and Skylar's hook and Yela's verse is so good. I like that you're saying how you feel about it. I know a lot of people have a lot of valid reasons for not enjoying Shady XV as a body of work but for me its fun and has replay value.

XV is dope for what it is but it should’ve been balanced out a little more content wise. “Die Alone” seemed like a careless throw away love song made with no passion and there should have been better production on a handful of the newer songs. I understand why the production is light on the title song and the song is good but besides that song, no excuses. Fine Line and Psychopath Killer are also dope.

Idk man if he ever did say some s--- like it's my last album.. I could see him just non stop still working and say u know what? It's just my life and i miss it and have a bunch of material i want to put out.. I don't ever see him stopping.. Just my opinion.. Respect yours

You're right, music is his life and he'll never leave the studio, there's no doubt about that. But he can only make solo albums for so long. Seriously, the dude is 45 and has f--- all else to talk about. At the rate he's going, if he does decide to make another solo album after this, it won't come out until he's 50. He's gotta hang it up sometime.
I think he'll make one last solo album and then fall back and do some producing and the occasional feature. Maybe a bit of acting, who knows.

100% agreed.

Em's performance and solo songs are brilliant.

Vibe of the title track is so fun. And for the first time in a LONG time (not even much on MMLP2 tbh) he's GENUINELY funny again. Not trying to be funny or some version of what he thinks people want him to be... he's just... funny, that whole s--- where he imitates himself, then the "Yo I put that s--- on a greatest hits CD?... NOW THAT WAS AWESOME!" just feels like his natural sarcasm. That's MMLP; self-deprecation, making a joke out of everything, turning negatives into positives, but with just a relaxed adult sarcasm.

PK verse is insanely good & slept on too. That whole f---ing jolly green giant section? and just the way he wrote it and the scheme he had leading up to that? pffft >>>>> .

Vintage magic.

Well let's run through the list of superstars, who it could theoretically ever be due to their fame. Because they've clearly made it known it's somebody HUGE and right there again 'the biggest'... So who could that be other than Em?...

- Drake (seems unlikely due to Views just 2016 then More Life this year)... But, could be, he seems desperate to remain on top

- Adele... Possible. Her other albums had bigger gaps but she keeps seeming to make them at seminal ages... 19, 21, 25, she's 29 now aka just about to turn 30. Possible.

- Ed Sheeran : really unlikely. Album this year, still milking that and probably hasn't started anything else or if he has, new one already?... Unlikely.

Who else we got? Jay dropped already, Kendrick dropped already, Pink is big but already confirmed and not huge like everybody else. I mean, who else could they be referring to.
