    The handling of Yela’s album is unsurprisingly absolutely shocking. Nothing is confirmed officially. Maybe that’s because he’s waiting until after Em drops...who knows

    Exactly, which is why I don’t think it’s gonna be coming out on that date. I don’t kind Yelawolf though and it’s a chance for another Em feature. Best Friend was great

    Shady is to blame for Yela's poor takeup and public interest.

    He had it all going after Love Story, Trial by Fire was done, it was perfect momentum.

    Instead. What did we get? Some Conway s--- years later. Guy sounds r-----ed.

    While I'm always happy to s--- on modern day shady records decisions, but isn't Yelawolf to blame here? His friend died which isn't his fault. But how he handled it, drank himself stupid on and off the stage, and ultimately went off the reservation, I would think this is the biggest cause for the delay.

    I have no doubt shady added to the s--- show though haha. They s--- as a label these days. Before Em's hiatus, they were an unstoppable machine cranking out hits in the likes of Bad Boy, Cash Money, No Limit, etc in their primes. Really sad to see how s-----y they are these days.

    Yela's thing is probably because of Interscope. They don't wanna release album for those who can't actually make money for them at all. They are all about money.

    I don't think Shady sucks. I think Interscope don't let em actually release s---. Just because of the lack of sale power in Shady artists. They probably wanna hear something that actually can become a hit or smh.

    That'd be the only chance of Shady's existance. Shady's last project was Southpaw soundtrack which actually contained very few materials from Shady artists. No albums for like 2 years. Label's dead. I don't think there is any other label like Shady in that sense.

    Some of his best work of all time came from the Green Lantern mixtapes.

    One of his best post hiatus tracks (at least flow wise) came in the form of a random drop (The Warning).

    His music outside of the full albums is often better.

    I'm literally excited about nothing now anymore unless it's on Em's twitter or from Em and Paul saying 'this is happening X'. Not that there's any hints or any s--- to work with any way, but jesus. So f---ing dead.

    Well this is the way it should've always been tbf, but unfortunately there's a lot of unwarranted excitement over random tweets, uncorrelated info, internet rumours and forced fan predictions instead.
