    Right for me is the perfect example where Em went wrong, that beat was straight fire, but that awkward flow ruined it

    RIght. f---, I love that beat. Another issue is his track selection for projects. I think its safe to say he had many other songs better than Right For Me. Probably more Fine Lines or Guts Over Fears.

    YES! I however can't stand Desperation and Wicked Ways. The others outweigh that though.

    Yes I hear ya. I've heard that mentioned in the past. I can understand that train of thought although I don't totally subscribe to it. I blame that more on slaughterhouse, but Royce is part of that group so there's still some truth there.

    I don't completely blame slaughterhouse either. I also blame the current battle rap scene too for influencing Em in this manner.

    Em was a rappity rap rapper before linking up with the Bass Brothers. So it's in his DNA. Plus I think after Recovery while trying to find a new sound and content to rhyme about, it was natural for him to fall back on pure technical rapping. Royce definitely helped solidly this trend but i place more blame on slaughterhouse and battle rap.

    (I love Royce's music, his new s--- especially, and I don't think I wanna admit it was Royce's fault haha).

    Yea but when it clicks it's a f---ing home run. Groundhog Day, Evil Twin, Wicked Ways, Don't Front, Baby, etc. Those are all rappity rap tracks and they're the best tracks from MMLP2. Some of those choruses and/or beats are atrocious though (especially Baby, still pisses me off he quoted dirty f---ing dancing for his hook...).

    That is true. He does some crazy s--- on Don't Front, Baby, etc. I guess I am just sick of it and am focusing on the negatives right now.

    Em raps his a--- off on Wicked Ways, but top 5 is an overstatement in my opinion

    There is probably truth in multiple theories. I still go back to Relapse....what could have been if he actually did drop Relapse 2? I personally think he would've stopped the accents after the sequel and we would've gotten more songs the caliber of CWYWF, My Darling, Elevator, Deja Vu, Beautiful, The Warning, etc. I am glad we got Recovery but f---...
