I was listenin' Kendrick and his d---'s album and I'm like where are the dope beats from the 90s and 00s ? Seriously Jay-Z and Kendrick last album has zero beat that I like. It's just me or there are other people who don't like the beat on these albums ?

that's why rap has to return to slight "irrelevance" I would say. Hip hop has been the most popular genre for some years now, it all started with Em back in 2002 and now it's so popular that it's rich with variety of genres all mixed together (it's trash but still it has variety). That's why I say , some other genre has to take over so hip hop can go back to far better lyricism and yeah better music.

well since it's all about instrumental and banging beats I would like that dubstep takes over like it did in 2011 but yeah something really has to happen because this is just the ending line, trash after trash.Atlantic records is killing what's left of hip hop
