Maybe your in Europe. In America , we've been part of Hip Hop culture since beginning.. No respected hip hop authority would claim new generation > Old. Put up a top 10 list - New Gen rappers or albums , ill make it look silly. Most of The new generation isnt innovative, passionate, inspired & stay in a comfort zone..

d---, 4:44, and more life were all big moments. This isn't the only thing that matters. I know some of you guys only listen to eminem and think he's the best ever but there's a lot of s--- that goes on in the rap community.

Side-note: It's starting to look like Em isn't dropping s--- in order to let Yelawolf get his shine

Yall are definitely in the closet. Eminem got criticism from rappers, fans, and outlets in the community. Yall weren't paying attention so yall missed it.

you know what ,I would make a few rules in hip hop
1.There should be an ultimate judge, uncorruptable and fair ,the one who should allow younger generation obviously to connect with the audience but not to dumb down the quality of music , you bring those young guys to this judge , he either grants you to get popular or he banishes you that you will not be able to release your trash a--- "music " on f---ing soundcloud
    [IMG]
get the f--- out of music you piece of trash, the community is too soft, time to bring that dictature.
    2. Every year a hip hop legend should get the most attention in hip hop/music community. I believe that rappers such as Ghostface Killah,Raekwon etc. the ones who are absolutely below zero cold mainstream wise deserve to gain the most attention so many people can actually get informed they dropped an album and help them get their plaques, well especially if they drop hot music,if they dropped trash obviously they don't deserve that much attention. But if you have a legend who dropped a dope a--- album, but who isn't really pushed out there,he definitely deserves to have that charting song and a big media attention, pushed to mtv etc. whatever one year you have idk, Ghostface Killah,Raekwon , like I mentioned, then you have Ice Cube, why not?He wouldn't sell much but he dropped a good cop bad cop song that was flamez and it deserved much more attention, so my idea would be that everyone in hip hop helps him get that mainstream attention so he gets his single gold or maybe even plat, and that happens every year for some legend. Like some legend type of event.

From the freestyle? That's obvious. But there's really no such thing as bad publicity.

Is it me or are there like 10 - 15 people in this forum spewing nonsense , full ADD mode , Flip Flopping , contradicting themselves? I had chosen other words but went the high road..

um eminem definitely isn’t the only rapper I listen to, and jay-z and Kendrick dropping albums aren’t big moments in hip hop. Are they great for hip hop yes, but was it a moment nope, so try again
