Told this a few hours ago to shadysince1999:

I thought MMLP2 was a huge step in the right direction (i hated recovery), but it was just a "good" album..nothing classic. There were a few songs like pure genius but others were just awful and almost everything after the LP was not enjoyable, because of his flow ....I hope he has another flow on this album and goes more smooth, has more classic beats like dre or bass brothers or even by himself and don't do this "I love the way you lie" bs anymore. I feel like 2016 is the perfect year to bring the OG controversy Slim Shady back

"almost"

I love Vegas! The rest is kind of ok... hm although I like Guts Over Fear for it's message, I don't like these poppy Hooks (there are exceptions) ...I don't want to listen to a Rihanna when I'm buying an Eminem album. This is why I hate recovery and also on MMLP2 he didn't even do half of the hooks and as we know his hooks are pure enjoyment.

About Medicine Man...I hate it! That's the best example for what's wrong with him nowadays...screaming and rap pity rapping..it's like ear r--- in my opinion and everyone who listened to this song from my circle of friends said the same (not saying anything about the lyrics, but f--- the lyrics if you can't listen to them or enjoy them)

Not saying it's because of a woman singing I love what Dido/Sia did and I love a few other songs where the hooks are not from him...just depends on the sound. I just can't stand this radio like pop songs according to the book. If Em does the hook, it always has something unconventional and refreshing
