    but this promo seems very, i dunno, lofty? in a way? Its feels super post-modern, that a body of work is being pushed as a fictional medicinal cure, or in other words a scientific development meant for public consumption.

    its not as vague as something like relapse with the album cover having a medicine label on it or something like that, and surely this isnt the first time a music artist has promoted their work in this kind of way, but the scale of the metaphor/joke/comparison is so huge. Like this is plastered on buildings and ad spaces on the street, and in websites and print, not as an artist's album but as a medical solution to a problem, but nobody knows what that problem is.

    this is the breakdown between art and reality, culture "eating itself," fictional images represented as truths - the state of hyper-reality.

    its kinda neat.

    Em has been wearing T Shirts as a tribute to the old school hip hop for a while now, "Revival" might mean reviving the old school hip hop scenario with this album, with old school beats and stuff. Idk Maybe

    Calm down buddy. Let’s focus on getting a single before we jump to wanting bonus tracks.

    Hopefully eminem puts out a album good enough that we won’t need bonus tracks.
