In what way are they not? They are notorious for the head band breaking. The most expensive version of dre beats should be sold for 1/3 of what people pay for them. Dre turned them into a fashion item and people just want them because they think it’s cool. Anyone that actually knows anything about music isn’t going to buy that s---. You can fine far better headphones for half the price or cheaper on the internet.

Pretty sure they had a falling about because they were heavy into drugs and eminem was trying to get sober. But he might of relapsed again so that’s a good sign.

And to be clear, Dre never took credit for the Bass Brothers' production on the first 3 albums. A lot of people just assumed Dre produced everything.

Dre hasn't been a beat maker for a long time. He is more of a composer. Takes different sounds from other people and crafts them into a more complete package. Still D.R.E. was produced by mel-man who did the bassline, scott storch who did the piano and strings, then dre put it all together.

Scott Storch & Dre made a lot of beat together. Storch is a real artist. For ex. Still D.R.E. piano was played by Storch and drums were made by Dre. I don't think Dre really used Storch as ghost producer at all.

Good Info. He works in the bigger picture of the beat using the resources he has bc thats where his time is best spent. He wears many hats in the production process.
