    Em needs to f---ing confirm this. I hate hidden clues without confirmation first. Paul needs to get on Ems twitter and f---ing announce revival or update the website with a release date or something.

    Yes Em definitely doesn't need any singles to sell his record but he could highly benefit from it like he did with Love The Way You Lie on Recovery, it could even double his sales considering it's streaming era. And yes, they definitely on hold about Em's project because of Yela. No reason to steal very little spotlight yela has ...

    I can see them updating that website though. I almost bet there are other versions of the fake ad video that are meant to be released as we get closer, and that those could possibly feature short clips of the album during the video ad(s). Highly unlikely there are that many more, maybe just one or two.

    At this point, they really don't have to do much if they don't want to. We're basically just two and a half weeks away (as we'll most likely hear it Thursday night (16th) at midnight). It's not that long at all. I'm honestly glad they did it this way this time around, as announcing an album for an artist as big as Eminem three months in advance is just way too long of a wait. They don't need to do that anymore in this age.

    I'd much rather be surprised and only have to wait three weeks, rather than know it's coming and have to wait three months.

    This is true, but the SNL announcement all but confirms it to me and I was expecting an SNL appearance announcement too (considering the ad aired supposedly a week or so ago). You can make the argument that the appearance is due to a single coming on the 17th, but that's highly unlikely - especially considering artists perform two songs on SNL. Since releases have changed to Friday (in the US at least), artists appear all the time on SNL that same weekend as their album is released. So to me, the 17th is a done deal.

    Worst case scenario, he does like Kanye and releases it after the SNL appearance. But Kanye is Kanye and that whole "TLOP" release was f----- up in all kinds of ways, so I'm sure it'll be the 17th (16th at midnight) - the standard for how most artists release today.
