    taylor swift is a pop artist. Eminem is a controversial rap artist who occasionally makes pop songs. it would not be at all surprising or embarrassing for a pop singer with a broader reach (more likely to play on local radio etc.) to sell more. especially considering her release date is already confirmed and the marketing for it is in full swing, singles and all.
