    I think it's unhealthy for us to pick random dates that have some significance and anticipate some sort of announcement out of it

    Right here. and before it you said election day we will get new music. but honestly I really don't care. Eminem doesnt have it in him to make a good album anymore. a few songs sure but anot entire album? no.

    Getting very over this... Been reading this forum multiple times a day for months/years on end. Expecting and hopeful of something on/near every major event and it doesn't happen.

    Personally, I feel like the album is only now starting to be recorded... Not the other way round. Yelawolf deserves his time to shine, he should be commercialized; the industry needs him. I haven't stopped listening to HOTEL (I know it's not everyone's cup of tea).

    Also, I want to thank all of these mumble rap fools for ruining the rap game. Then again EM and DRE can't complain about anything; they've have had ample opportunities to keep it together and prevent this nonsense. BUT, they never let anyone drop... Bishop, Stat, Ca$his, 50 Cent, etc etc etc the list goes on. Even if they decided it was sub-par, I can bet everything it would've been better than the s--- we hear today. Jon Connor has been slept-on SO HARD, and the album keeps being delayed... It gets to a point where hype fizzles out and no one cares anymore (See Detox versus Compton).

    The fact that VIEWS has done so well and Drake has achieved so much by emphasizing R&B-type crap proves it is a horrible time for hip-hop (amongst other things).
