    I'm not a big fan of the song. I get the concept and all, just think it could have been executed better. To me, it's just one of the average songs on the album. Some okay lines in it, but some kinda cringe/corny ones in it too if I'm being honest.

    Comparing yourself to Cinderella is pretty p---- no matter the metaphor....he shoulda tryed a more til I collapse pt 2 with that beat....hook is unbearable

    Eminem hasnt had any1 tell him his albums are wack in years. Its so obvious. He doesn't have a good AR like that.

    No way, because how would he know the Relapse response? Or even an indication he wasn't that satisfied with Recovery afterwards @ "What good is a f---ing recovery, if I fumble it?".

    Also, he seemed to use the Richard verse as a jumping off point of style / feedback back then, as he put out a statement thanking people for their feedback, when people said they liked it and it was MMLPish.

    I think Paul and Royce or a few people probably give him the honest feedback of fans and critics with each album, the basic chatter. As he seems to know it and respond to it every time.

    Imo, that fumble line was never more than a football pun. I never saw it as a reaction to Recovery being unsatisfactory, I saw it as him saying "Okay, Recovery was recieved better than Relapse. I'm on the right track, let's not f--- it up here."

    I still don't see it the way you're trying to portray it. To me, that line just means "I almost wish I nevet did it, 'cause now the pressure's on to keep up that quality." Nothing about that line screams that he hated how it turned out, imo.

    People didnt like relapse until he said it was wack. Never heard him say anything about recovery. He hasnt changed s---. His verses have gotten progressively worse

    I'm 100% sure that the album is dropping 2017 - no doubt. I think it's highly likely that it comes the 17th. It's obviously not the usual promotion/build-up to what we are used to. It's almost like he's trying to avoid the spotlight. I always got the idea since his return (relapse) that he's always hated being in the public eye. Tbh he doesn't even need to do the interviews and s--- other artists do.

    Wait I'm joining this convo late so could be wrong. Are you saying his verses in mmlp2 are worse than in recovery? Cuz that's wrong, technically he's at the top of his game.
