    Horrible mixing/production and some terrible lyricism.

    The caliber of songs on Recovery though... whew. If only it was all executed with more class, could have been a total classic.

    Agreed with Deja Vu being the best post-hiatus track but how do all of you guys hate on a song like Space Bound? It's far better than any of the garbage on MMLP2. While we're at it although I think Deja Vu is the best, Guts Over Fear is the post-hiatus song that to me sounds the closest to the old Eminem. I can't really put my finger on why exactly but it just does.

    I agree with Deja Vu but sorry. Bad Guy is better than Space Bound. Space Bound is better than anything else on MMLP2 though.

    With horrible mixing/production? Most of the album. The impression I'm left with is just LOUDDDDDD, LOUDDD AND CLASSSSHYYY AND HARSSSH!! Doesn't sound crisp. Sounds busy and tacky.

    That's the overall impression and most of the beats.

    With regards to terrible lyricism... I think we all know the lines. Won't Back Down is a big offender, s--- like the slab of meat line? That is just really awful, awful writing. Not even 'just for Eminem', but just in general. There's like 0 art to the pun, he just actually liter-ally describes it lmao, it's so overwrought and bad. I was absolutely shocked to hear EMINEM that lyrically bad when I heard s--- like that.

    Because up until and including Relapse... that was always where Em was kind of bullet proof. Encore he fell off but he was high and f---ing around, and bored, clearly, then with Relapse... people didn't like the style or content, but his writing was never really tested. Nobody was saying his writing was wack. But with some of Recovery, it felt like when Tyson got knocked out by Buster Douglas, like Superman didn't have his costume on, it was like "oh s---. He's not invincible".

    Eminem could easily make a classic. He needs to get out of his comfort zone and stop doing the typical s---. Pick some different producers. Go a different route. And stop with the corny sausage flying saucer s---

    And cut it with the rapidy rap s---. It's not working at all. Yes, his hipster fans love that s--- but they love anything. Focus on good songwriting and people will enjoy the tracks more. More beautiful pain. Less brainless. Ur 40+ and a goat. At this point its sad that i can find better songs written by trap artists than you.
