    Very true but doesn’t explain best hip hop, he’s up against artists that have all dropped like Kendrick & Future

    Would be strange to lose to someone who hasn’t released in 4 years lol

    Honestly wouldn't be surprised if him performing there is enough of a qualification to fit in there - as best hip hop is pretty general. I'm assuming it's best hip hop artist or whatever. I mean, the MTV awards alone aren't that you know... professional/legit (it's early here I can't think of the right words) they're more a gimmick if anything. Let alone the Europe ones.

    And I'm sure over the years I've seen him nominated in categories like that when he's been inactive as f---. Especially at these sorts of awards shows @RG9 it's because they kind of don't have much going on there so they just pick the world's most popular for the sake of having the basically pretend award (in the scheme of things).

    I mean look at here in Australia, our hip hop charts I saw the other day had 2Pac's Greatest Hits and The Eminem Show in it.

    Yeah I guess these awards don’t mean much as it’s basically a popularity contest because it’s done via fans voting. So Eminem should win because of that.

    It’s a big enough platform for him to perform and announce something though. Would be cool
