    He's not talking about himself in that case. For example in Bad Guy he said "Cameras are off, sad but it happens to all of 'em". He's talking generally, of what happens to the last years of every artist.

    Anyway what i can't figure out is how you can say em could not care about sales. Serious? One like him? It's OBVIOUS Em and his staff care and they want #1 spot. He can do a classic even caring about sales. Of course there will be 1-2 HUGE singles in the album. This is just a Speech to the fans. Calm down, d---.

    SNL does hate trump i wouldn't be surprised if he did the the storm I'd be mega extremely disappointed though. This s--- better not be on the album swear to god

    Em has never cared about sales. but I'm sure seeing them decline can be a hit to his self esteem, even if he doesn't want to care.

    but yeah the staff 100% care. they have to, it's business.

    I understood it as him comparing his current album record sales (post hiatus) to his prime record sales since the song is about comparing his modern day music to his prime. You know, the s--- that happens with any aging artist.

    I'm thinking maybe this time he decided not to release any filler tracks and put together a cohesive message. Whether you feel Wow or not, I think it has a place on a cohesive album.

    I think that was more him giving into label pressure after relapse flopped.

    I feel Relapse was the last album he had full creative control. and it was a---. so.. but idk the industry. maybe he does care lol
