    Yeah true the STANLEY MITCHELL REVIVAL pub is probably a weird coincidence. As well as the random a--- mention of Stan at the end of the song. As well as the weirdly timed pre-promo Stan merch. U right

    now that my hype is over i can officially call WoW trash, if he could put those words in a song that had any replay value or vibe to it it would be so much better

    i see a lot of people confused about this. the whole song is about eminem being insecure and worrying that his fans hate everything he’s done since MMLP. it’s an unprecedented level of vulnerability for him, and it comes as no surprise that he can only keep up that openness for so long. the last few bars are pretty much a complete rejection of the rest of the song, the sort of “w-well f--- you i’m still bigger than you” that a bully ends a fight with to try to save face. he’s pretty explicitly putting back on the exhaustive facade he alludes to earlier in the track, it’s not just a random shoutout
