Shocked we haven't seen the album cover or tracklist with 3 days till release, everything about this album has been so secretive. Very little information has been given away in this roll out...

I don't think he'd say that just based off this rumor, it would not be hard for him to get confirmation on the release date.

If everyones somehow wrong about this date tho all these sites and ppl saying the 17th will take one of the biggest L's in rap history

I don't know if it should be chalked up to poor promotion, or if we're not getting the album as soon as we think, or if they're going for a very different promotional approach as Em hasn't dropped an album in the streaming era yet. I guess we'll know soon enough. Em's name has been in the news a LOT, which has probably been noticed and noted by anybody who hasn't followed along with Em's previous rollouts. We see Em in the news and think "dope, rollout starting soon" but other people see the weird amount of articles, interviews, performences, etc. and Em is stuck in their subconscious. it's kinda cool.

Revival is not about Eminem making a comeback or being revived. It's about the revival of hiphop. He seems to look down on today's rap music. Does a whole verse mumbling utter nonsense on opening track.

he did somewhat "confirm" the rumor awhile back that Kendrick did have a second album even though I thought that was bogus. I think Joe is using the same sources as we are when he's assuming that Nov. 17th date, but who knows.

tbh that could loosely be the concept of the album after hearing what he had to say in the interview w Rubin and that other numbnuts. i doubt Em would do something like that, but as of right now, "Revival" either means 1) the revival of his career, 2) the revival of Stan (due to the weird amount of mentions of Stan from his camp) or 3) revival of rap. at least, that's how I see it.

I like it and I think it's cool to go a different route but it's just SO quiet apart from the single and the MTV performance. We literally no nothing more about the album except a few rumours of producers etc. Quite extraordinary really with only 3 days to go. Hats off to them if that's the way they wanted it to be. All will become clear on Friday but I'm desperate to see the artwork and tracklist I won't lie.

The difference is budden has no known connections to TDE, he's signed to Shady and is friends with many ppl there including em/Paul. Idk why he'd want to make himself look stupid *on his own show* by blindly agreeing with a rumor he could easily discredit

I think at the worst it will be sorta like the d--- situation where kendrick said "y'all got till April the 7th to get your s--- together" and he just dropped the title/track list that day and d--- a week later. Maybe on the 17th we just get the cover/track list and the album releases the next week

yeah, you do have a point. but regarding the second Kendrick album s---, he said "By the way I know kendrick had that second album, I don't know why he decided to scrap it" like he was in the know about it.

with Em, he didn't really say "Yeah the album is coming out Friday" he more or less just said "yeah there's not enough time left for a second single, we're going into the album with this as the only single"
I could easily see him buying into the rumor as opposed to actually having insider information, considering the 11/17 date has been literally everywhere. i don't know what to believe at this point, I just am very reluctant to get my hopes up about anything and that's how I've been conditioned being an Em/Frank/Kendrick stan.
