Hahaha wanting new Em material these days is brutal. It's why I don't even sweat it. There's so much good music available that I listen to daily (Fabolous has been killing it these past few years!) that waiting for Em is kind of whatever. Honestly, checking this forum daily or multiple times a day will unnecessarily increase the angst waiting for new Em news or music. I check here a couple times a day cause we're getting close to something but it's a bad habit haha. Makes me want new eminem more anxiously than when I stay away from here haha.

Another good point. This is so true and another reason not to live on this forum all day (here I am posting again! d--- you Koolo!). You'll be so anxious for new eminem that when it finally arrives, it will NEVER EVER live up to those expectations. It's essentially impossible. It's also why after several years go by, many people start to appreciate the latest album more than you did when it first came out.

We're never ever getting another MMLP or Eminem Show. He doesn't live a life to generate that type of material any more. He's a stay at home dad with a kid in college and 2 others in high school or whatever. He's not out in public bumping into people that piss him off. When he does go out, he receives nothing but praise and adulation from his peers. Almost every new mainstream artist today was influenced by eminem. No one is gonna cross him to the point where he would use that as fuel to his music.

The sooner we all accept this the faster we can enjoy his new material. If you still can't appreciate and enjoy his new stuff, then it's probably time to find a new favorite artist. Luckily for me I grew up in the 90s when exceptional talent was based purely on how technical you could rhyme. I don't like the choppy flow all that much but I love tracks like Evil Twin, Don't Front, Groundhog Day, etc. (but I hated all the rock themed songs on LP2). Nonetheless I'm enjoying this new eminem more than most people on this forum and almost most definitely more than the people who grew up in the 2000s because technical rhymes weren't as prevalent during that time.

I think I saw someone suggest this before..but a dope way to build hype would be to put nothing but a countdown on eminem.com. But knowing Paul it'll be counting down from like 6 months

I 100% agree. He definitely needs to incorporate simpler flows that are easier to understand and easy to remember the lyrics. He slaughtered Till I Collapse and Renegade technically but the way he flows, everyone knows the lyrics. That's so incredibly rare in hip hop. This is obviously when Em is at his best. When he has complex rhymes but the way he flows, everyone can remember the lyrics. When people can remember the lyrics that easily, this means it has high replay value which usually translates to a more well received album and not receive so much hate.
