    Another point --- why would they waste an SNL appearance to do "Walk On Water" and perform one new song? Only to say the album will be out in a couple of weeks/next month - that's dumb as s---.

    You go on SNL to promote your album. It would be such dumb marketing to not release it.

    Everyone wants to hear the album. But that doesn't take away the point that it's terrible marketing to go on SNL and not have the album out. It's not like he'll book another SNL appearance next month. It's terrible strategy if they waste the appearance.
