    I'm not saying Revival will be released mid week or not. But mega stars like Eminem do not need to follow the norm of Friday releases, he can literally drop his album at any time he wants and will reach his sales goals.

    For those who don't know, SNL starts about 11:30 PM EST... the first performance is usually closer to midnight (right before they do Weekend Update). Then the second performance is closer to the end of the show, maybe about 10-15 minutes before 1:00 AM EST. I'm sure we'll see "Walk On Water" first - then whatever song he performs as the second song, will be closer to the end of the show. In case anyone was curious about how the performances go on SNL.

    Well yes, live performances sometimes sound better than a song on the radio especially when they are written by you. And Rick and Skylar are a huge reason why the album will be trash. We are kidding ourselves thinking Em would actually change s--- up. He hasn't learned his lesson yet

    Ah f---, that’s later than I thought for us UK guys.

    Looks like I’ll just rewatch it online in the morning, and hopefully wake up to something about the album (although obviously very unlikely).

    It wouldn't shock me for an older song to be performed at this point (considering all that's happened) - but I'm more surprised that they really didn't have the album out already for this appearance.

    Everything just seemed to point at doing a digital release this weekend, and then drop physicals for Black Friday next week. I think they may have slightly altered the date a little bit after the date got put out there like that. Most artists who book an SNL date around the time they have albums coming, book it for the day after it's released (Pink, Taylor Swift, etc). That's just became the norm as far as musical guests and SNL. Jay performed on the season premiere and his album had been out for months, but SNL is not new during the summer and in his case it was probably more to help promote his tour.

    But yeah I'm all ready for another massive "L" tonight - when they end up doing "I Need A Doctor" or "Stan" as the 2nd performance.

    I think they even put the whole show on their website so no worries. It's at 7 am. here lol. Who the f--- would wake up at 7 am on Sunday ?!

    I think even if it's dropped on the 24th it would still be digital only for a while imo.
