    Without a new single or any sort of hype 600-700k
    I just can't see him do under 600k no matter what.

    I will say this, I hate growing up and getting older but I wish I was apart of the teen era that got to experience Eminem in his prime. By 04 I was 8 :mjcry:

    yep, I dont think em will do over 450k first week with revival.
    this is his last big album btw, hes done after this even if he doesnt want to be.

    Revival would've done SOME units, which is infinite times more than what he would do if he doesn't release anything.

    the thing is back then we didnt even realise how lucky we were, to most of us em was just a cool mc with great music.He was on par with drdre/dmx/50 cent etc....looking back you can see the greatness we were witnessing tho.

    Tbh, if he had a few good singles, I expected him to do 500-600k. Without, I guess below 450k, though that's hard to stomach

    Does anyone think it’s at all possible that no where did anyone in Em’s camp say this was coming out on the 17th, or that this is in fact a “surprise release” and maybe were all acting like an entitled bunch of little fa----s? He doesn’t HAVE to do anything, he has already released some of the greatest material in hip hop and anything now should be an extra. If it’s good it’s good, if it’s bad it’s bad and it will come out if and when they want it to come out.

    What was the point in his shade45 appearance and SNL? If he hates doing it. Was it worth it?

    My thoughts exactly.

    Even when he was performing Stan he kept trying to speed up and scream the end of each bar. Skylar’s version of the hook was nasty too.

    This guy is done. He has lost all ability to rap properly. He can still write (in between his s-----y punchlines) but can only deliver them in a battle / cipher / acapella style. He has no sense of flow or being able to write and deliver lyrics to a beat.

    As for the rollout of this album, it has been a disaster. They has failed to capitalise on the hype generated by the Revival ads and their choice of lead single was abysmal. It debuted at 7 in the U.K. and won’t be climbing any higher. I’ve not heard it once on the radio or in stores. The way he starts to wave his hand to motivate the crowd when performing it live as it builds to the last verse shows that he thinks this is an anthem or huge crowd pleaser but it’s just not. It’s just whiny Em crying over himself.

    My hype for the album has plummeted. I’m no longer interested in this album, not with the bs interview on Friday (which was basically a huge f--- you to the fans) and the s-----y single that proves he still hasn’t learnt how to make good music again.

    I’ll give it a listen when it finally drops out of curiousity but I ain’t giving him or Paul a f---ing penny.
