    I listened to Refill tonight for the first time in ages. d--- I miss that flow, those multies and that production.

    Makes me wonder, if people didn’t s--- on Relapse and didn’t make Em go in a different direction with his music, we probably wouldn’t have gotten the yelling, the corny punchlines, the choppy flow, the pop singer hooks and the horrible production.

    Yeah. I completely understand what you mean.

    None of Em's recent songs were hits - in - that way. Like, ''true'' HITS within rap. I agree.

    Numbers aside, that's sales and exposure and pop... but.... BUT... I would say "Rap God" maybe just qualifies for that. But yeah, definitely not "Berzerk".

    They disliked the album because of the cringey subject matter and his accent. I don't remember anyone going at him because of his production choices or his flow, if Eminem couldn't figure out his s--- and got insecured of his own skills, it's on him entirely, no one else. People also criticised him for the Rick Rubin involvement and Eminem still hangs out with the dude, fans also want a Dre X Eminem reuinion, but Em never makes a progress in that direction, don't put it on the fans, or his manager, his musical output is solely dependent on him. Just my 2 cents.

    I personally just really don’t like the song it’s underwhelming I’m allowed that opinion I’m not doing it to be awkward
    It’s a poor song and it’s chart position says it all

    Completely agree - I'm going to get mad hate for this, but I blame a lot of people's negative Relapse reaction for this unfavorable change.

    Relapse, to me, is a great album.

    Premiered on shade 45 too. IU was listening in when they played it. I remember thinking 'this s--- godly' that f---ing flow.......!!!

    Track finished... whoo kid didn't sound even bothered. LOL. I think a lot of that relapse s--- is lost on people because of the accent... for whatever reason. It honestly never did bother me, and it still doesn't today.

    Each to their own I guess.

    P.S f--- Eminem and his bs opinions, pandering to the c---- on that 'fans down' movement by acknowledging them, and jumping on the 'yeah I know relapse was s---' bandwagon. I think it's becoming clear by now, that he doesn't always make the best decisions. f--- off Marshall.... no ones buying your s---. Admit it... you were real happy when relapse was finished... you thought you'd hit the lotto again, and you were pleased with the output, and so you should have been. It was a great album. Fast forward all of a sudden to when people don't give you the reception you were lookin for... you start joining in with the f---ing fans and jumping on the bandwagon with all the bs....'f--- my last cd'. 'that last relapse cd was meeeeh'. Na fam..... as a cohesive project in terms of structure and concept etc.... THAT WAS SOME OF YOUR BEST s---. Trouble is your fans are fickle as f--- and they micro analyse everything you do, and you've lost your ability to anayse thing properly from your own viewpoint, and can no longer form your own opinion. Bashed Dre for the same s---.... but then jumped on the 'my last cd was trash' bandwagon.

    relapse was super average with some decent songs but knowing what come after I would have taken 10 relapse over the rest.
