    We can't say it's been delayed since there was never an actual release date. Everything about the 17th were rumors.

    Yeah, it seems like it was delayed though.

    Taylor Swift wouldn't have let him get #1 album and also Walk on Water didn't do as well as expected. Surely he wouldn't do 3 public appearances and performances in a weeek just to promote WoW

    The guy on Reddit said the album had been pushed back to 12/8 did so two days after WOW was released. That's hardly enough time to understand that WOW flopped. I think the likeliest situation is that say saw the early numbers Reputation was doing and knew they had no chance of going number 1 that next week.

    I wouldn't put it past that it was going to come out on the 17th, but some unknown force ended that plan. Maybe that's partly the reason why Em did those older songs at SNL, instead of a second new song.
