    I would understand this approach if it originally dropped on the 17th or within the next few days but that's unlikely right now, I was excited by the idea of a quick surprise release. Now they're using the same formula but dragging it out instead, doesn't work.

    Any date past mid-December seems like a completely waste of time and whatever money was spent on the promo

    If it's not coming out until late December or early 2018, shoulda just announced a date when "Walk On Water" was released (as typically done in the past with an Eminem album).

    A surprise release that doesn't drop for an extra month or two after a single is released is really dumb, in my opinion.

    if that's true then honestly f--- Eminem, f--- Paul, f--- Shady and f--- Interscope...f---ing c---- ruining everything all the time. The way the think feels like they still on 20th Century lol, don't know s--- about dropping a project in 2017, all they had to do was 1 month of full promo starting with BET Cypher, drop a single 1st week of November, 2nd before SNL, perform both singles on SNL and AMAs to and air a f---ing 30 sec commercial at the event with Revival dropping on Black Friday then mid of this week Tracklist and Cover Art...WAS IT THAT f---ing HARD? Instead of adding revival ads all over London for a month now? lmfao they are r-----ed

    A surprise release is best done with a tease (quick promo with billboards or a single) then the release coming shortly after. 4:44 was a good example of that. Dragging it out just takes the hype away and makes a surprise release pointless.

    Exactly, his sobriety influenced a different artistic direction for him. People expect him to be go back to his old self. It will never happen. Times change.

    Hate to be another person just moaning about this but it's so boring, I want to be excited for an Eminem album to come out and every time I start to we just get weeks of silence. Really does k--- hype and expectation.
