    Actually bad guy was good too, not sure why i threw it out, but i think its just the beat and flow i liked. The lyrics are too gimmicky for me i guess but i get why he did it and it was cool from a novelty standpoint.

    If we analyse this marketing / roll out strategy:

    The general hip hop fan perhaps no longer waits on Em’s every move so they are likely to have become aware of a rumoured album and then heard the single and probably no longer care.

    The average music fan is perhaps interested but then has heard WoW and probably not too bothered.

    So the current Shady Records strategy of allowing all hype to die doesn’t affect these people cos they aren’t even waiting for the album anyway.

    It only ever worked as a marketing strategy for his core fans who loved the ‘subliminal’ secret drug ads etc. But then they decided to go on Shade 45 and s--- all over us. And now even the hype of core fans is waning and we mainly discuss Hopsin and how much we hate Paul Rosenberg. A job well done from Shady Records.

    I mean if i could produce an em album at this point it would be:

    4 tracks like monster or love the way you lie with the pop singer comin in, made for radio.

    4 tracks oldschool with a dre beat and goin hard.

    8 tracks in a new direction over a trap/edm type beat with em letting loose like on rap god, but with a cooler beat. Rap god was good but i hate the track they picked. Tracks more like in the d12 days "aint nothing but music" or even some of them like on rabbit run. Just beats that play to ems strength that have that new age edm flow that em can murder.

    If thats what they are there scumbags. I was mainly talking about him smiling. Those people are the reason athletes don't sign and any celebrities when you see them.

    I hear u, but even if the rollout is lame, Em doesnt need hype. They can Drop a quick fury of Marketing. People forget that s--- quick

    Normally id agree but this is gonna be the last album and its gonna be kind of like a best of, but with all new music.

    Look at mmlp2 - it has some country beats, a 70s throwback with kendrick, some pop songs like monster and legacy, some old school s--- like baby and evil twin. You tellin me thats not a mixtape?
