I think he was talking about the 4 tracks and someone mentioned the new album and Eminem was like "oh, what new album" or something to that affect

That r----- was literally talking about the production credits of his last record :empalm:

No, just no. Most still have Em in their GOAT lists. No one creates non-stop classics. Just because a small amount dropped him doesn't mean the majority discredit his GOAT status. Nothing can take away his classic albums. True hip hop heads can still see the genius in his work despite the flaws he has in them now.

I wouldnt say its a small amount. Why do you think Em is consistently getting more and more clowned? His legacy is getting carved away with each disappointment.

He gets clowned by people who only love to hate and s--- on people. He does get an amount of hate. Don't get me wrong. But compare his classics to current classics and I am sure most would still rank him above them. Regardless, how many other GOATS still put out classic music? Every great musical act fades into irrelevance that hasn't retired, switched career paths, or died. A lot still put out music that people don't like anymore. Most don't even know they still create music. I don't see people taking s--- away from them. I just don't get how current music affects what he did in the past.

I agree with what youre saying, just commenting on what I see. People hold Em accountable for more than other artists for whatever reason. Im not a fan of really anything past relapse but his run from 98 to 2003 was so d--- insane that I will always get itchy like a fiend for a new album because I still cant drop the idea that he can deliver one last classic. TES is my all time favorite album and no other eminem albums are in my top 10 really but that album is perfect to me.

I feel ya. I just think most are haters that really never were a huge fan of his to begin with. I have that glimmer of hope that he will drop one last classic. It is frustrating how he has glimpses of his greatness throughout his albums now. I firmly believe he does have albums close to his prime level but he just chose not to pick those songs because he chooses s--- songs for his albums now. No one will ever make me believe that Stronger Than I Was, Rhyme Or Reason, Won't Back Down, etc. were better than songs he left off the album. bs.

I always felt like Recovery was the first indicator, or as you put it, him bleeding.

Actually, I'm specifically referring to Not Afraid (perhaps I ran them accents into the ground) and Cinderella Man (f--- my last CD, that s----s in the trash). These two lines always made me feel like eminem wasn't the same confident dude anymore.

All the way up to Relapse, he would have told everyone to f--- off if they were criticizing him and he would make the music he wants to make. But slowly ever since Relapse came out, he's been giving into more and more criticism when in reality, he should be caring less and less what people say as he gets older.

Oh well. Not that big of a deal. People change. It's life.
