I agree. The whole pharmaceutical thing is played out, especially for eminem. But fine, if that's what they wanted to do then whatever, but why half a--- it? They had a website that they didn't leverage for anything cool. Em appeared on shade 45, EMAs, and SNL and they didn't tie in those appearances to the album or the whole marketin scheme.

Just a weird rollout altogether. Hope the album is good though haha

I think the worst part about it is that I truly believe he does have the capability of putting out a classic but I think a lot of it is down to who he is working with, someone can’t go from being one of the GOAT’s to doing a complete 180. Rappers do fall off but not that rapidly

Yes. They announced the 15th as the release date. If it were available a week earlier due to it being an Apple exclusive, they would have announced it. Makes no sense to announce the release date but not mention "oh by the way it's REALLY coming out a week earlier exclusively on Apple Music". Just doesn't make any sense to me.

But I've been wrong s million times in life. Won't be surprised if I'm wrong again.

To be fair, eminem did a 180 after the eminem show (or at best, it ended around the time of Encore/green lantern mixtapes). So it wasn't THAT rapid of a fall off. Well technically it was a rapid fall off, but it happened over 13 years ago.

I still f--- with eminem though. I still think he can release incredible music. Problem is, all post hiatus albums are filled with so much subpar or average s---. Overall I think he's still dope though.

I feel technically he’s in his prime.. hoping that ability to make a coherent album with some story telling is there too.. although he was always known to capture your attention w that visual.. ya dig

This album will be an 8.5 or higher.
What I enjoy about his newer s--- is that it actually grows on me overtime. Don’t always love it immediately like I used to.
(Not gonna lie most of it) but still...

we won't know about a surprise release until the week it drops, maybe the night it's released. they would be dumb to not drop it on Apple Music as an exclusive, they gain new customers like that.
