    not sure about legacy but rap god's producers said that the beat was created in '11 and em recorded the song in '12

    Nothing building up to it can point us in a positive direction. His music sounds dated and repetitive. He wasn't even bad on MMLP2, His flow was good and writing for the most part was good, but having randoms on his hooks, putting trash songs on the album when he had better songs on the bonus etc f----- it up. The beats are generic and dated too. Along with naming it MMLP2. It's like he literally became deaf since 2009. Now his rapping isn't even enjoyable mix that with selecting WOAT beats. I'll be shocked if its good. Even fucken Jaden Smith's production choices are a billion times better. Listen to Jaden Smith - L or Second part of Breakfast from his album Syre, imagine Em on beats like that.

    I agree that Em's singles don't have effect on certain amount a sales he will do but they definitely make mainstream fans buy it a lot. Recovery was actually promoted bad to me because they only released Not Afraid before the album drops. It was very successful but releasing Love The Way You Lie before the album drop would have easily made him go platinum 1st week. However, Love The Way You Lie was a huge boost in sales weeks after album released. That's another strategy tho: Currently RIAA is last updated in like 2011 with Recovery sales but I'm sure it'll hit the diamond before MMLP 2 or Relapse, maybe even Encore.

    Last few pages, so much of the unnecessary whining and complaining. Eminem has been a commercial success from 1999 to up until now and you guys still acting like he still has anything left to prove? This album will probably be a commercial success too and you'd be riding his d-ck once it is. But even if it isn't, it doesn't matter? Eminem has been at the top of his game since his major debut.

    If you really think it's over for Em and he can't sound good on an album anymore, then get the f--- off this forum and do something that is exclusive to frustration/ whining and get over it. Let people who actually care about the album anticipate what matters the most, its content. Stop lurking around this particular section if you think Em should hang it up, but don't bring any sort of unasked negativity this close to the f---ing release date.

    Disagree. This is his first studio LP in 4 years, nearly the longest gap between releases. Anticipation has not decreased one bit for me. In fact I don't want to hear another song before the 15th so I can listen to the album in its entirety.

    Eminem isn’t trying to make some album to impress the “hip hop” fans of 2017. Dude is 45... he’s not going to rap about what he rapped about when he was 30 nor is he going to rap about sipping sizzurp. He’s rapping for himself and he had a story to tell as far as his career/life has gone. I get what you’re saying about the flow and all of that but give the album a chance before having a self inflicting hate on it

    Eminem literally talked about the american politics less than 2 months ago, where the f--- was he then? And that "proof" line was all the content he found in the song? Like a top notch artist doubting his own self and trying hard to put quality music out there isn't content worthy? Like talking about how he has flaws and how he's losing his confidence in his art while perfectly showing the insecurities in him isn't content worthy? LOL, f--- outta here with that bs
