Em's mastering is sooo f----- jp. His tracks sound flat, overcompressed, not loud enough. k--- For You had f---ing noise is bass line. It was the first time I was shocked. How f----- up his ears must be to put out s--- like this? I mean, look at Hopsinp the guy is making his own beats, mixing and mastering as well all alone for all his life. He's sound quality in all terms is on Dre's level

I think they'll do something to generate hype really close to the 15th.

I think the main reason for this rollout approach is that the general public barely has a 24 hour attention span these days. Why spend a ton of money to keep reminding people an album is coming? Sure, this isn't fun for the hardcore fans but isn't it more cost effective to just remind everyone the day before release via social media? Especially if they can make it go viral? Practically everyone streams now. They just need to be reminded to add the new album to their library lol.

Look at the storm freestyle and Walk on water. Both of those events were literally discussed everywhere for about 24-48 hours. They were water cooler talk at the office by people of all ages and backgrounds. This shocked me. Prior to these 2 events, the last time I ever remember random people in public talking about eminem was when 8 Mile came out.

I'm thinking, the label can probably generate more hype that reaches more people in a smaller timeframe instead of dragging out the typical promotion with regular targeted ads and s---...basically they just gotta do something that goes viral a day or two before the release date, get everyone talking one more time, and bam, no more promotion is needed.

Keep in mind, we're talking about eminem. With no promotion at all he could probably sell 300k. With a quick, wide reaching viral campaign the day before release, he could probably do similar numbers to Relapse, Recovery, and MMLP2. Somewhere in that range.

The obvious way to generate hype would be to release a catchy single sometime next week but something tells me they will do something different this time around to generate the buzz. Either way, I think something big happens as we get real close to the 15th.

Everything is a trend a phase these days nothing last which is why this is a really weird time for eminem because he’s not that kind of person to fit that idea. Another reason why everyone kept saying he was using trump to gain attention because he’s clearly a big topic right now.
