Revival seems to have a central theme based off the interlude and a few of the track titles...so this will be prob like a Recovery 2 kinda album

Who cares about how many Em features he has in this album
Every time a new Em album is released people expect it to be TES level s--- which will never ever happen!
SSLP,MMLP and TES were Em at his peak meaning he could go no further!
And why every album since pales in comparison to his amazing flow and lyrics on those first 3 albums.
If Em wants to use so many pop features so be it.If u think the album will be trash stop complaining about it and don’t buy it.

Ill bet money this album wont be better than Relapse. I dont think its overreacting to be genuinely pissed at this bs tracklist. I thought after hearing the rick rupin interview that he got the gist of everyones complaints with him the last few years

i think it’s presumptuous to assume that big names on these tracks are merely “for the sake of it”

sky was originally doing the hook on WoW, and she was replaced by beyoncé not because it was going to make a bunch of money, but because em and rick felt beyonce had a unique conceptual connection to the track that would be worth featuring her

ed sheeran has talked at length about being a lifelong em fan and about how rapping along to em’s verses helped him conquer an extreme stutter to find success in the industry. idk what the content of the song will be, but again, i highly doubt that it’s just being thrown on there to fatten the paycheck

even the track that skylar is on, although there’s probably not a particularly great reason she’s there, is likely because he couldn’t find anyone that could do it better than her. he has no issue replacing her on her own tracks when he thinks there’s merit to it, so the fact that he’s kept her there is, again, a deliberate artistic decision

i don’t know enough about alicia keys or kehlani to speak to how they’ll work out on these tracks, but i have high hopes

every time you question the potential effectiveness of a female pop hook, remember that in 2000, at the peak of her career, an em track list came out listing Stan (ft. Dido)

They easily could be if he didn't use so mainly pointless fkn features, f---ing up half the album!

Take the MMLP2 tracklist and just delete all of the feature tracks. Do that and already it's elevated ten fold.

MMLP had 3 feature hooks. TES had 3 feature hooks. This has SEVEN, MMLP2 had SEVEN, eight if you count a sample hook.

It makes a huge f---ing difference. 3 feature hooks is a very small part of an album, f---ing 7, 8, it's half the album! Which is why MMLP2 sounds so bad. Because it doesn't flow.

Also a huge, huge difference is the fact MMLP and TES hooks were authentic aka Nate Dogg's "Till I Collape", or "Stan" sample which inspired a story. They either fit the theme, sound or were organic in some way.

That's much different to just using 7 random fkn pop hooks and writing verses to them. You can't have an Em album flow or sound consistent that way. Because he does it so badly as well, they're generic pop hooks and don't suit his fkn music.

That'll be 'random b---- track' number 1. Which we definitely need another one of and is worth a track space over a concept or story or just making the album shorter. Then "Need Me" with Pink will be 'random relationship track' / 'b---- track number 2'. Can't wait.

Ok going to sleep now ...tomorrow I wont be talkin about tracklist anymore unless we get some more confirmation about producers or someone has a really stupid comment...cant wait to hear the album above all else...7 solo Em tracks yay
