the people around him that I would suspect are people that showed up at the time eminem became s--- ;royce(main villain imo), kon artist and rick rubin and skylar grey.

But all your points come down to Paul being responsible for Em's poor post-hiatus music, but then you say all those events listed f----- Em up to the point of no confidence and not knowing what to do. Surely that is the most likely answer to his drop in quality. Seems like way to much mental gymnastics to just ignore what happened to Em and just say it's all Paul.

But Em since Relapse has been pretty vocal about his position in hip-hop and his uncertainty, and responded to criticism each album. It seems way more organic than the manager just saying "switch it up" as you can clearly see how Em changes to the response to his album on the next.
