I'm problably one of just a couple of people in Poland who know the album is coming... I ask people who listen to rap if they are waiting for Revival and they look at me with a stare like "No, I don't know that band. And to h--- with rock an' roll.".

I talking about the real world. Not just us fans who discuss the album on forums.

The general music listening public don't seem to even know an album is on the way. I've heard nothing about it on the radio, my friends a co-workers who are/were Em fans don't seem to care. I think it's safe to say he's lost his buzz in the industry.

Before Relapse/Recovery/MMLP2 I couldn't go anywhere without hearing We Made You/Not Afraid/Bezerk. DJs were talking about the upcoming album and everything.

It's about the hip hop community now. Not about the marketing. It's definitely not about the little fans that don't listen to any other hip hop artist except Eminem... You know... The ones who only listen because he's white. Em doesn't need the hype or the marketing anymore. This album is about waning out the bugs who don't know s--- about hip hop, and fully reaching out to the hip hop community... The ones who actually follow lyricism and appreciate it. To gain respect to be called one of the greats by people who actually know the genre, instead of being called Rap God by people who don't. I believe that is the true goal with this album. Maybe a little more "f--- Trump" added into it, but you get the gist.

Just a thought I had..
I think when he finished WoW with "b---- I wrote Stan" he was telling us that the rest of the album is gonna be filled with songs from perspectives of other people, more of the storytelling Eminem on the album..
Stan was from a perspective of a die-hard fan that obviously affected Eminem and Untouchable is from a perspective of a white cop/black person and it touches on racism which is a big subject in America..it obviously affects non racist people like Eminem "And I admit, there have been times where it's been embarrassin' to be a white boy" "And bad cops f--- it up for the good cops"

Halo Reach, I know, but we will see soon

Edit: I remembered that Ed Sheeran also mentioned that he recorded a storytelling Stan type of song with Em

Also when he said that he tried to make a song for everybody, I think that he meant that the album touches on many subjects in America that affect different type of people

Tbh this happens every time he releases an album since relapse. Esp on this site there are always multiple post talking about how there is no buzz and Em is getting irrelevant then he does 700k. Relax, em will sell well, that's a given. He will go platinum in 2 weeks no problem. Worry about the quality of music and not sales because the sales ain't changing

I could definitely see that, especially after the SNL medley. It would mean that the songs for the medley and their order we're actually chosen carefully because of the fact that they were storytelling songs from different perspectives other than his own. If they had given him more time, he probably would have done Bad Guy and Stronger Than I Was.

True that. Sales don't change for Eminem lmao. He could fart into a microphone, have CDs made of it, and somehow still go platinum. The reasoning is because Eminem fans are like iPhone users, they buy for the name.

Interesting. Must be really good if they kept it. Usually when you keep recording, older material starts to look bland to you, as it happened with Eminem when he started to enter Recovery era sound in his studio, and resigned from releasing Relapse 2, dissmising it as a "lull".
