there is literally no aspect of WoW that would qualify as gospel singing but tbh that’s the least embarrassing part of this post

Can I just take a moment to mention how a--- the pre-order bundles are? Even the promo pic, they literally just photoshopped a picture of Em on top of a photo of a shirt lmao

I have played both songs from the album about 6-10 times in total. Haven't listened to Wow in weeks.

Both have some good moments & have some good signs but both have terrible replay value.

I'm going to give my honest opinion here be because I've seen so many people giving negative opinions about it. Maybe I can get some people to see things in a different light, or maybe I'm just wasting my breath. I don't care either way.

The Storm: Maybe it was just to get him attention, or maybe it was to get rid of all the bs fans who only followed him because he's white. No clue. Was it his best work? No. It was mediocre, people noticed the flaws, and those flaws contributed to the message sent in Walk On Water.

Walk On Water: This was a little unusual. A very raw sound. He vented about the things his self-esteem in a way that was comparable to Beautiful. The difference is that the song wasn't about bringing the fans self-esteem up. He did this song for himself. He told his story about what he has to go through every time he tries to make something. He came to the conclusion that no matter what he does, people aren't going to be happy, but he knows that he's made great things in the past that nobody can touch so he deserves to say what he wants no matter what people say.

Untouchable: This was a great artistic concept. The only reason people are talking s--- on it is because it correlates with a similar message heard in f--- the Police, and a lot of Eminem fans disagree with that message. Those fans are heartbroken because they've always thought that because Eminem is white that he represents white people. That's not the case, he represents hip hop. To be able to step out of his personal shoes and step into the lives of people that he's never been takes a lot of talent, and send a deep message that a lot of people could learn from if they open their ears and listen instead of just judging and saying "this s--- is garbage"(Walk On Water).

If he can't get through to you with the message he's trying to send, or if you're too stubborn to listen, then maybe you shouldn't be listening to hip hop. Maybe you should go find another genre. Hip hop has always been about venting and storytelling... The whole catchy hook/hot beat/party track is still a new concept that doesn't define hip hop. I know me saying all this won't make any difference, but I've been dying to say this... There's so much more that I could add into it, but I see that it's not worth it. By the way, I think this is also worth giving a listen to those who haven't heard it:

It's so cringe to hear from people that he is corny. r-----ed teenagers smocking weed while listening to Lil Peep (Rot in h---, lmao) and saying that Hop is corny, bc he is speaking the truth on wise topics and helping people become better and smarter. U literally sound like every other 10 y.e mad and jelous kid rewriting what he saw in comment section, lol. You don't even know what u r talking bout.
Hop is God. Self made and one of the most talanted people on planet Earth. But, nevermind, don't waste your time trying to figure out his music for you. Play that Gucci g--- jam again, lmao.

Drake is watered down ballix. The sheer fact he does not pen his lyrics stops him from going down as a goat, in rap music anyway.

Drake is not a musician. He has a ghostwriter, he makes swag meaningless fashion music for dumb people like you.
He literally can't even make trash music by himself, he needs a ghostwriter :jordanlaff::lmaooo::bookah:

Any1 that thinks Drake won't end up in the goat discussion is simply hating. He's having a better run than Eminem
