    I really disagree with this idea of singles selling albums, especially in the last 10 years.

    Example I've given is B.o.B's debut. He had two gigantic worldwide singles and yet debuted 84k.

    Who tf buys an album for singles? That's what kids would do in like 2001 lol.

    Everybody hears the singles they wanna hear on YouTube now. So to me it makes no sense. Ed Sheeran fans who don't already like Eminem aren't going to go "Oh Wow... Ed Sheeran and Eminem? I better go pick up the album or buy it on iTunes to hear this one song I wanna hear and can any time for free on YouTube!"

    Em fans will always know about the album and most of hip-hop too and first week sales I think depend on how intrigued people are based on his last album, where they think he's going next and what they expect coming into it. Then the album sales either fall off like Relapse, as the content and style were weird and not mass market, or sustain like Recovery... because they were.

    I'd be willing to bet anybody Revival sells at least 600k, minimum. But probably 650-750k and the singles are irrelevant. OTHER than cluing fans into what they might expect and either killing or hyping excitement. But not for the hit aspect. If it's a hit, Beyonce fans won't suddenly love Eminem if they didn't already, just because she's on the hook of 1 Eminem song lol. It's so silly.

    Sales is'nt the focus, they want to bring Em's high profile down so he doesnt get boxed in soo much. Obv theres the business side of things, obligations etc
