Yeah because people bought the SONG. They wanna hear that SONG.

We're in an era of singles sales. So yes people can hear it online for free and many will buy the song, as well.

Why the f--- would a Rihanna fan, who otherwise would not have - also buy a whole Eminem album for the one song.

Recovery only sold 150k more in its first week than Relapse. That's not an insane amount more, in accordance with your theory and is much more likely attributed to the fact more people knew Eminem was back vs. when he came back for Relapse. Then, Relapse sales dropped off... because it's a weird horrorcore album and Recovery sales sustained... because it has broad, mass-appeal content.

People buy Eminem albums because they want to know what he has to say and how he will sound and you will see that and be proven wrong and have to s--- it up when he sells 650-750k 1st week Revival and your theory is proven wrong.

Oh god no.

Recovery is actually a solid album. Much better than MMLP2.

But his flow and his wordplay are dog s--- in comparison to Rhyme or Reason, Rap God, Groundhog Day, Love Game the list goes on.

Name me one artist who has maintained the same level of quality/classics over a span on ~20 years.

He pretty much addresses this in WoW - he set the standard high and everything just gets compared against it. Just enjoy the releases for what they are, without comparing them to his best work.

It's so bad. Not all bad. Obviously there's some good lines and some good flow.

But also some of his worst ever. The monopoly line may be the worst written pun I've ever heard. It's so bad.

First verse was good then the next 2 were garbage!
The best verse on MMLP2 was Bad Guys final verse which was f---ing brilliant!

Rhyme or Reason is dope as f---. First dose of funk from Em in a long-time. Sick of the cheesy pop rock s---.

That's dope as f---. And s----s on the abysmal lyricism of things like "Not Afraid" and a lot of 'Recovery'.

His MMLP2 flows were top-notch. Just a shame the album was put together like a piece of a--- turd.
