Mr. Porter moved back to Detroit from L.A., returning home to assist with his friend’s next album. He said there was no specific decision to begin on Revival, but he did recall this specific in-studio story as a moment before the project began. “I would say just having things to talk about,” he confessed when asked about what inspired Eminem to enter album mode. He continued:
"Political things that happen make you want to talk about things. The president is an a------… the guy, the guy is a piece of s---. You can quote me on that. He’s literally a piece of s---. And I think stuff like that fuels [Eminem] to want to talk. He doesn’t want to rap about nothing. It’s like he just wanted to talk about some real things that were going on in the country and his life."

To make a really long story short I spent most of my time on that board talking about basketball and how I played, ect. So that night Sarcasm starts bragging about how he has TES and I PMed asking for it. He tells me to f--- off and I respond telling him I'm a 17 year old basketball prodigy from Ohio named LeBron James and to look me up. He did and wrote back saying I could call him and he'd play some songs. So I block my number and call him up. He says he'll play me some tracks but I've got to answer some questions about female groupies and throw tickets his way when im in the NBA. i say no problem.(Making sure I tires to sound black lmao) Well he plays that snippet and I tell him no way that's the clip from the show play something real or I'm out. He then played Soldier in it's entirety. Then he says now your turn and asked if black p---- felt different from white p----. At that point I burst out laughing and told him I was a 15 year old white kid, that was a f---ing wigger and that he s----d at rapping, and hung up.

What a time to be alive back then.
