That’s fair. But you realistically knew years ago we weren’t getting that. So why not look at the benefit of the doubt. This isn’t a bad album. Just not something that met up to a 24 year old Eminem lol. A. He can’t talk about the s--- he used to it doesn’t fit society B. Gangster rap doesn’t do well.. 50’s new single didn’t do numbers..C. He’s not going to start rapping like migos or future just to see Apple Music steams go up. Eminem has always rapped what he felt, and now he’s doing it in his own way. It’s up to his fans. If they like it awesome. If not then thats their loss

One last thought before I leave the album analyzation alone for tonight before I digest and relisten tomorrow.

I think it’s safe to say a majority of the Section80 audience f---s with Believe. This has me playing the role I hate (the overanalyzing b------) and I think toward the end of the last verse is some of the most honest content he’s put out in a listenable manner (Walk on water is his most honest overall record since his comeback but it’s not necessarily a song we want to listen to) ....but he’s literally screaming to us he’s unmotivated and subconsciously or consciously he feels he’s accomplished all he possibly can...which most likely lead to the half-assed s--- he’s put out post comeback. I think it’s dope. And the over-analyzer in me believes this fool is legit crying out he’s done. I know he’s said it before but this legit HAS to be it.

Which is disappointing because I think he’s proving to be one of the most sensitive artists ever by letting the hate get to him but between his own self doubts he’s clearly struggled with since getting sober and ....welll....YOU guys......it’s sad this album (even though I enjoy it) is the ultimate taking my ball and going home moment if he really is done...which I think he is.

Side note....chloroseptic is NOT growing on me and gets worse with every listen. Em is one of the best flow innovators (pre-hiatus and even some moments post-hiatus) and he feels the need to steal from the migos so blatantly ....

castle is probably my favorite after doing a quick 30 minute listen. problem is that this album is treading the same ground over and over with 10 examples of the same song different gift basket. overall, its decent but if someone is going to blatelny rip off Joan Jett than dont let it be this man JESUS. still as it stands, top 5:
