    You can tell by the writing on the hook and the flow he was using. Plus the fact he refers to recovery as something hes about to release.

    Makes me wonder if hes really shot out his voice and the surgery has left permanent damage and legitmally cant flow because of breath issues. You hear about the whole throat nodules/cysts effecting vocal performers and its pretty clear his voice is very hoarse these days (a sign of post surgery) not to mention the way he actually talks is different (speech therapy)

    I think Em finally learned how to use a computer and learned how to use “shuffle” so he went to his vault, clicked it, and that’s how the track list got picked lol

    My point is just because his voice sounds like it did on another song does not even indicate that it was recorded before a 7 year old song was. He changes his voice all the time throughout every f---ing verse he does now. Why don't people chalk it up to that? He chugs redbull and is all over the place now.

    Probably different people saying these things. I say he should release albums full of old gems from now on until he's able to make good music again consistently (at least Believe level).

    i think its as simple as this, Castle was written in relapse sessions, arose was written in last 2 years. Clear for me in writing styles. When it comes to vocals though i have no clue

    Arose was definitely recorded recent.. listen to how he pauses. It's literally how he does it on new songs, just add vocal layers.
