But then it stills begs the question, why does Eminem sound so much better voice wise on the first half of Castle then the ending of Arose???

Why he use a shot hourse voice on the majority of the album, when on Castle....he has a smooth voice thats the closest i've heard to old Em in forever. it doesn't add up.

The only songs I can even stomach going back to are (minus singles): castle, arose, In my head, believe and chloraseptic

Literally after those first two songs skip skip skip skip skip skip skip right to the end

Framed is ok but not worth stopping for

Well I took the time to listen to the album multiple times before I commented and at this point I’d say it’s better than MMLP2 but not better than Recovery.. My initial thoughts were it felt like a mess.. Didn’t feel cohesive and tracks were all over the place but at the same time I found myself enjoying most of the songs.. It was a really weird feeling and couldn’t decide if I loved it or hated it.. It’s like if you were just to listen to it song by song separately it’s better than going straight thru as an album or something.. He’s gotta get rid of Rubin.. Still needs to do more of his own hooks.. Even tho some of the girl hooks were well done I’m just sick of the song format.. My fave tracks at the moment are...

Like Home is growing on me.. Alicia Keys was good even tho I don’t think it even sounds like her lol.. Also I know Offended prolly gettin a lot of hate on here and I was never much into punchline Em but I actually don’t mind the track.. It’s not great or anything but I enjoy listening to it.. Also one of the things that bothers me the most is we didn’t get a Eminem singing song like Stronger than I Was.. I always love those Eminem tracks..

Right. I've come to the conclusion that this is not the same album they had when they started the AskAboutRevival.com marketing campaign.

I think they had an album ready and was due to be released on Nov 17th. An album with a medicinal / revival theme.
They were surprised by WOW flopping so they pushed it back a month, dropped a couple of tracks and shoe horned in some political tracks.

They then sharply stopped the viral AskAboutRevival marketing by having Trevor make a video confirming the album and Dr.Dre share it to create buzz.
They then released Untouchable, a political track to try and reignite the hype his 'f--- Trump' BET freestyle generated, slapped an American flag on the cover and pushed it out as a faux political album.

That explains why the album is so disjointed and flows like a stubborn s--- stuck up Paul's a------.

Castle, Arose and bad husband are listenable.
Believe and In your Head are growing on me. As much I don’t listen to walk on water it’s one of the stand out tracks. As I stated last night I still stand by saying this album is garbage. Encore has more listenable songs and that’s sad.

River would be killing the charts with how catchy it is. Who didn't think in his camp that it should have been the single? And I like Wow, but would have been so much more powerful a song if everyone heard it the first time as the intro.
