    This also is the reason why many people dont like parts of the album. Each era had something people liked, and others hated

    Honestly i don't think it's true. The writing and flow kinda gives away the fact that it is most probably written around the same time as the rest of the album. I write lyrics myself and there are some details in there and a certain "mindset" to the entire album that makes it at least look like it's from the same time period. And not just recorded in the same time period, but written in the same one as well.

    This is also backed up by how Eminem normally works. He wants to improve his skillset with every song and if it isn't improved, it's scrapped. So i really don't see him putting old material on an album.

    Edit: Eminem also creates a specific sound for a project and he can sound like any era he wants. He can still do the SSLP/MMLP/TES/Encore voices whenever he wants to, he just chose not to return to what he has already done.

    No he can't. And some of the songs are definitely recorded from way back. His voice sounds younger. That isn't something you can just change like that.

    Not to mention the fact that there's no way Em would be able to write something about Hallie now and vividly remember s--- from that relapse era. It's impossible. idc how talented he is. No rapper can give a story from that long ago like that.

    One thing I hate about the alicia record is it has skylar written all over that. Alicia's soulfulness wasn't on that record which pisses me off.

    There aren't much details in his story, it's stuff you can easily make up and fill in with your truths. It's what he has always done pre and post hiatus.
    He doesn't sound younger on any track, not even on Castle/Arose.. It's the same voice and the writing/flow easily gives it away.
