    this was my take as well, she sounds good but she doesn’t sound like herself. much higher/poppier when she’s usually a more deep/soulful singer

    There so many unanswered questions about this album man.

    Why is it called Revival? Struggling to see a reason for that.
    Why the medicine ad’s?
    Why the bad promotion?
    Why perform songs live from albums that dropped 17, 7 and 4 years ago?

    When you disappear for 4 years at 40 years old then come back at 45 and throw an album together like this and fill it with all these self defeating tired lyrics and regrets - the writings on the wall.

    What do you think his next move is Einstein? Drop a tes level classic at 50? Guys clearly in a midlife crisis.

    If it kept the same energy as the chorus and the ‘il take a 100 of you, 100 of you’ part it woulda been a lot better. IMO.
