    I don't hate it, but I had the same reaction. The first full listen I actually felt bad for him because I didn't know what I was listening too. A few more listens and I started liking tracks I thought I hated. Usually I like albums then quickly hate them, this was the opposite. I did that MMLP2 where it lost replay value really quick. I don't think this is amazing though. I need to listen more.

    f--- yall. The album could've been 10 times better production wise and in all other aspects. 5 f---ing love tracks. Out of 17. After 4 years of waiting... Eminem is done

    i would agree river is pretty lazy...and i agree the stop and go rly takes down the album from classic (for me at least)..but his stop and go works on some of the songs, it works beautifully on believe and walk on water..it works on in your head..so it wasnt too bad imo

    but yes it coulda been much better i agree

    Castle most definitely was recorded around 2010-2011, i mean you can just tell this by his voice, layered vocals and delivery

    However, i think it was pointed out that there are new vocals on that alternate ending of Castle (on Arose), so the whole idea/concept with rewinding the tape is most likely pretty new and probably recorded this year with Arose. That actually makes it debatable whether or not his pen game is still this good in 2017 tbh
