Everyone I know said this album was trash. Both Eminem fans and casual rap fans. Guess i'll save my money for Jeezy's album instead. At least he won't try to white shame me

Still find it incredibly laughable that people really f---ing thought arose/castle was recorded years ago and re used and think that he can’t just change and alter his voice in the studio lol. Walk on water believe in your head arose and castle are amazing songs while framed untouchable chloreseptic are good songs the rest I really could’ve done with out due to the horribly empty and dull beats and painfully girly poppy hooks like nowhere fast and like home which sucks since lyrically he delivers on both. Bad husband could’ve been so much more but instead he put out something lack luster nowhere near the level of GTC last verse and his delivery could’ve been so much better as well I really feel as if his heart just was not in this at all this time around maybe he felt or the label felt he needed to have this America theme to get attention earlier today on the interview he said he wasn’t really feeling what he was making and wasn’t too interested in an album but in the last year things picked up and I can’t see this being what he wanted. Silver lining is the next album will be nothing like this this album for sure was a failed attempt at recovery 2.

I’m seeing a lot of hate on Twitter for Revival which I was sort of on the same page at first but after closely listening to the album it has really grown on me and I think it’s probably his best work post hiatus. Eminem is not really known for grower albums, he usually releases stuff that hits a high then quickly fizzles out. I’m not comparing it the TES but I found that album to be a grower for me as well. I think this album will definitely have more longevity than his other albums post hiatus.

Also really annoys me how they want to call this a trilogy when mmlp2 was made between recovery and revival lol makes it seem like he was forced to put out mmlp2 then realized it was the wrong choice “so hey yeah here’s what should’ve came out :D”

When it comes to spazzing/funny songs revival has the worst ones from relapse to now aside from chloreseptic. Here’s to hoping the next album will actually be mature eminem and not “here’s some insanely personal songs and 10+ love songs and happy songs”

I think his funny s--- was dope on this. It literally sounds like he took some s--- from when he was on drugs. Excluding a few songs this has vintage Em written all over it. People may not like Porter but he was around since the beginning. Guarantee he had a hand in making sure Em had that classic Em sound at least on a chunk of this album.

One thing I can say about the funny songs on this is that they actually had lines that made me laugh which is rare for album material from him. I agree he seemed a little more vintage em witty throughout but I’d still take 99% of all the other spazzing songs than these ones same with the relationship songs on this they were horrible but River was good not great though.
