Funny thing with Revival, I'm listening to it now on empty stomach and it's not as bad. So I guess it's not that Eminem needs to be hungry to make good music, I have to be hungry to appreciate his music.

I love this album. It has grown on me tremendously, and I feel it offers a well-diversified track list to all levels of fans.

Lots of layering, flow switch-ups and a great level of creativity.

Only criticism is that I miss the cohesive storyline-driven concept albums, but this could come again.

Either way, I look forward to the next one!

There is genius on this album, no doubt. He always seems to find it to make me believe in him, but how some of the garbage was allowed onto the album I don't know. I don't understand what goes through his head in crafting albums post 2010.

I feel he does try to reinvent himself but to compensate the "risk" he does these s-----y pop features. For a guy who apparently listens to a lot of hip hop he sure avoids doing what is acceptable in hip hop in 2017 lol.

Agree. if revival was a trap album. A decent trap album with songs like believe would be a instant succes. People are not feeling that pop songs anymore. Even the teenagers. It was good in 2010 but not anymore.
