    honestly can't figure out why I like In Your Head so much. It's super TES sounding I swear

    like... In Your Head -> Castle -> Arose is flawless. Each song sets the next one up perfectly.

    Again, 808s was considered trash by general for years. Now ppl look at u sideways if u said its a bad album

    where Em's rapping from a life where he flushed the drugs in 2007.. and by the end he rewinds it back again to let life play out the way it was supposed to, and we're right back to where we are.

    i'd say i like relapse more still but this is better than MMLP2 easily, and on par with recovery

    After "Untouchable" right up to "Heat" when it picks back up... is maybe the biggest drag of any Em album.

    The first four songs and how they are placed together >>>

    Then, Heat, Offended >> ... f----- up by Need Me, but then In Your Head to Arose >>>> and maybe his most powerful ending to an album ever. Letting an emotional moment stand by itself without a wink, or a stupid skit or draw back moment. I loved that.

    But god d--- almost everything in between.

    Yeah that's just a joke of a statement.

    It's a mess, really and laughable to compare.

    If Em had produced it himself, in the same fresh way he did with "Believe" and kept some kind of tone... to the album... Easy classic.

    But he's so f---ing insecure. "Oh s---, better put a bit of Recovery for the kids!"... Oh s--- and a track for the Relapse fans!"...

    SSLP, MMLP and TES are consistent masterworks.

    No matter how much stans like this, the general consensus will call this a dud. Em's best album since 02 is either relapse or recovery by the consensus standards

    Definitely would have improved it.

    But still a lot of it just doesn't go together again just like MMLP2. So it's just trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

    And just like MMLP2 era, it's really frustrating because I believe from "Believe" (yes Marshall I do believe in your talent, but not your album making ability anymore), "Chloraseptic" etc. that there was a classic body of work he made, in terms of the songs he recorded.

    But, in the process of trying to "balance" (what a repulsive word when we're talking about ART) and pander again... We got another mess.

    Personally if I was to shorten it, I'd have this:

    1. Walk on Water
    2. Believe
    3. Chloraseptic
    4. Untouchable
    5. Heat
    6. Offended
    7. Revival Interlude
    8. Like Home
    9. In Your Head
    10. Castle
    11. Arose
