Quoting someone else on here but this album is definitely a diamond in the rough

It’s quite cryptic in the sense that pretty much most of the tracks take a while to digest but once you have it gives a positive perspective

Well there it is, he says it himself:

Do you find it hard to balance technique and content?
Yeah, that’s difficult. That’s how I ended up throwing out a lot of songs I recorded for this album. Sometimes I’ll realize when a song is done that it’s just words, it’s not saying anything. There’s no message, no concept. I’ll record a song and play it in the car and be like, “This ain’t about nothing.” That obviously means it’s not good enough.

f--- you guys lol I see what you're doing. You want to see if you can shift this board's views. No way you like this album and there's really no way you're actually recommending Remind Me to anybody online much less IRL.

As far as sampling older stuff goes for an entire project I think that's be great as long as Rick Rubin is nowhere near it.

Dream On, Toy Soldiers and to an extent In My Head all worked but the Rubin Trailer Park Anthems lol? That's a big f--- no. Actually thinking back to The Defiant Ones(specifically when he's listening to The Nirvana song) I'm surprised Dre never tried that with him
