"I'm about to, like a rematch, outdo Relapse with Recovery, Mathers LP2..." means "I'm about to release Relapse, then outdo it with Recovery, then outdo that too with Mathers LP2, and hit you with a victory lap (Revival). "outdo Relapse" does not mean Relapse is bad, it means things keep getting better and better and there's no stopping him. Like he said "I'm about to outdo SSLP with MMLP, TES", he's not dissing Relapse there at all.

All this arguing and trying to figure out all the small nuances and meaning show this album truly is GOAT. Love it.

On that matter can someone PLEASE post a nice detailed summary on the album and how it all fits together. It has so much depth I need to try and understand to fully appreciate castle and arose. They are great but can get a little confusing and complicated.

Nothing to it except the overdose in Castle where he almost died but managed to rewind the time, survive, get sober and go on to release Relapse, Recovery, MMLP2 and Revival.

Yes, Revival is 2. Recovery is pointless, riddled with bad puns and wordplay and sounds cohesive but dated.. MMLP2 has a couple of good songs, but he outdoes every single one of them on this record. Some of these songs start off allright (like Love Game) but they just keep going and going and going with all kinds of bs filler lines. Its scatterbrain to the fullest on display there. The 2 or 3 songs where be does focus are dope (Bad Guy is not one of them..).

Revival is very focussed on its subject matter, despite of what you think of the album.
