    I wonder if he purposely dumbed down his puns on Revival to appeal to more... or just got worse at it.

    Wordplay and puns on s--- like Baby, All I Think About, Medicine Man >>>>

    Revival puns are so lazy. They're not as badly written as Recovery, but he just says some simple s--- then says 'like... ', there's no level of craft in it like recently, which makes you go 'oh s---' at the construct of it.

    I mean the content and lyrics aren't that bad but even with the few good songs in the album like believe, castle and arose, I just can't get on board with his flow. It just doesn't sound good. But with Framed he shows that he can easily flow flawlessly like he used to so idk why he raps so boringly almost everywhere else.

    I wouldn't care if I never listened to this album again. very forgettable and boring album

    I was being generous here they're pretty bad Trump disses are played out, Untouchable is cringe and I'd seriously rather listen to some mindfuck r-----ed song like Insane rather than some other generic a--- random non-topic feel good trash or some fictional love

    Sad thing is he sucks at r-----ed songs too now he used to be catchy with pleasant beats and impressive wordplay like Insane but Offended is borderline torture. At least he can still make good serial killer songs

    Agreed, his puns are so corny. The constant delivery of them aswell.

    “[Something, something, something], like... [pun]”

    It is lazy. He just says “like [pun]” As a lazy way of giving him something to rhyme with the bar before it.

    I am afraid he really likes f---in pop chorus so maybe he thinks Skylar and Pink with love story number 289 sounds great.

    I'm so tired of the f---ing narrative that all of Eminem's core base wanted Relapse 2. NO WE DID ALL NOT. Im a day 1 fan. I'll be 32 years old in January. While Relapse was a good album with great production and great flows, outside of a few songs it had very little replay value to me. Also I have very little interest in listening to a 45 year old Eminem make a horror core album. Would I like more Dre production and input, of course. But stop assuming his entire core wanted Relapse 2.

    Btw this is not all directed at you, just the general sentiment.

    At first i didnt think Trump not responding would deter Em from bashing him regardless..Now I believe they changed the tracklist. I think the album was gonna have harder tracks lashing out. The delay, weird rollout...I like the album for sure, but its spread out to appeal to a wide range of his fans. The content is good, just not as cohesive as a whole..To me Framed , Believe , Offended , Chloraseptic , Castle all stand along other great songs of his...

    Imagine Eminem didn't released Fine Line, Guts Over Fear and Vegas back in 2014 and included them in Revival instead of remind me, offended and need me. AOTY

    Random thought, but I remember when the video about Revival being an Eminem album and dropping on the 15th was released, they included it on the Revival website. Now, the old ad video is the one on the website.
    They totally forgot about the website. At least they should've indicated that the album is out now!

    I don't care what anyone says. I like Revival and I like the beats too. I like listening to many of the songs on the album.

    great post.

    I am sick of this re-rewriting history saying Relapse was good. It had great beats & was mixed perfectly by Dre but was ruined by Eminem rapping in a weird accent pretending to be a serial killer because he watched it on tv.
