I did say it's "sadly" a highlight, though I don't think it's terrible.

It's not just his voice. His delivery and flow are also of a bygone era. Notice also the same layered vocals he used to use back then. It's harder to tap into older versions of yourself than you think. For Eminem to have recorded Tragic Endings within the last few years, he would have had to deliberately drop all his current mannerisms (the choppy flow, beat pauses, etc.) and mime his old style with surgical precision. Too far-fetched for me. He hasn't sounded like this since My Life. Skylar sounds like her younger self here too.

No I don’t but my point was that he doesn’t sound how he does in his current music. I don’t think eminem can litetally make his voice sound like something from MMLP on his own but no f---ing doubt can he make his voice sound like it’s from the recovery era and not to mention studio enhancements etc are all things to take into consideration. The song is for sure made in the last year current Eminem is too weird and wouldn’t put a song that was made for another album on something new (yeah I know about no apologies and beautiful)
